Just remembered I took these last month. Used to have a restoration shop...

"Guess what hun! Gas company bought out the 2 YEAR LEASE I RENEWED AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR. Landlords kickin us out in a week. BOY IM PISSED! Hey wanna go for a bike ride???"

WE'RE A HAPPY FAMILY WOO

Don't ask me. I was just driving around randomly down some unknown road, THERE WERE NO WARNING SIGNS AT ALL. Almost went for a swim with the bike, not that we didn't need it.

Decided I was gonna ride up through Battleground to Cougar, and around the east side of St. Helens up to Spirit Lake.  Turns out the road's still closed for snow! Ran into the ranger at the gate across the highway though, and he said it's opening tomorrow... talk about lousy timing! Roll Eyes  Anywho, ended up riding another road I like up there that's finally open up to the Lava Canyon, and on the way back down decided to check out a side road to the Climber's Bivouac.  It turned into gravel in short order, and continued that way for probably 15 miles or so, more than it shows on the map along the road anyway (arrowed lines courtesy of MS Paint, woohoo!).  Here's the map with the route, and a few pics, enjoy!

The mountain's in hiding!

Cute Forest Service gal (and friendly! Chatted for 20 minutes or so)!

Offroading baby!  Still snow on the road in mid-July. Tongue

Does it qualify as a Dual-Sport now? Huh

Is that my house by that last hill? Undecided
