If they're running on gasoline, however premium or even aviation grade gasoline, I can understand 15.9:1 compression, but never 59:1...
15.9:1 is good for a diesel, or for any kind of detonation-powered combustion.
59:1 means you have 58 to 60 bar (atmospheres) pressure on TDC, I have yet to see piston rings that can take that kind of pressure before combustion.
