Well, I am amazed at what you all do mechanically.   After 1/2 hour of trying to get the carb back on only to realize I had to put the air box back in first, amongst the tangle of wires.  I used words i haven't used since Vietnam. Cheesy Cheesy
So for all of you who do this stuff for a living, and all who shadetree it...I tip my hat (welll, I will when I find where I left it.)

Everything's easier after you've done it a couple of times...

Hats off to you, for taking the plunge... Wink...

Even doing it the right way it's a task to finaggle that sucker back in there. I've done it 4-5 times in the last 3 years. I still cuss it every time.

I simply hate messin with the carb. Rather do the valves any day.
I wonder if thats got anythig to do with me not getting around to finishing up on the carb tuning,, duuuh..

I started out 57 years ago a little over 9 lbs. For the first three years I made a real mess every time I ate. But after years of practice, I have learned to eat so well my doctor wants me to lose another 12 lbs on top of the 18 I already lost. Practice makes perfect....No, practice makes fat. How many 1/8 turns per pound do you turn the carb screw? Or is it mostly wind resistance that slows us down? Anyway, wrench marks and screwdriver scratches and knuckle-blood stains make me proud to ride the little beast.
