I was looking at my images on photobucket the other day and found I had 160 of them so I've printed them all off as thumbnails so I could see what I have and yes I had forgotton a few.
Anyway this is one of my favourites, it is a Harley bottom end with Ducati desmo heads and mikuni flat slide carbs.

good looking Clive, but I cant see why you would mix the best (ducati)
with the worst (HD) I guess they wanted to see if they could.

I'm with Mick on this. Weakest link on a Harley is the single pin crank. Best feature of a Duck is the Desmodronic valves. Guess it could have been done the other way around for easier valve adj. but you'd still be throwing away a few thousand RPMs. It is beautiful work though. Some of you may have seen it because it gets around but several years back I went to an R/C model show and a guy built an 8th scale funny car with a working V8. I think Clive got it right.

Oh yea, you know you don't leave the good ones. First picture is last year going to see a friend at Bonneville. That is the Bonneville salt flats in the background. About 2 hours after that shot my friend Bill Ross got the APS 1000 PG (partial streamline 1000cc pushrod gas) record on a Moto Guzzi. He took the record away from Harley Davidson which made it one of my most memorable rides ever.
The next shot was a few months ago leaving for the New Mexico Guzzi Rally with my Tucson Buddy Derral. He's the second fastest rider in Arizona Wink
