I wouldnt just weld it, Id splint it & weld it. Just a couple inches of steel rod layin across the break & some welding & that thing otta stay with ya.

I'm going to go and see if a local dealer has the part here in Ocala and I have the new EVO phone from sprint so I'll video it and post for your amusement..LOL

yes and no, it's got left and right hand threads. So if you have a left hand 6mm thread die you could make your own using a piece of rod, otherwise you will need to either buy a new one or take a piece of tube and put over the broken section and weld it on.
