I wonder what the parallel twin in my Suzuki Burgman would do hooked to a manual tranny in a light bike. It is pretty quick with the CVT in the heavy scooter. I bought my son a 83 Suzuki GS450E and am going to turn it into a cafe racer. The parallel twin 450 does pretty good with the 6 speed tranny.

As a current rider of a Vstar 1300 I can attest to the fact that the bike is a very sweet ride. The "Raider" like styling of the Stryker may not be for everyone's taste, but I guarantee the fit and finish plus that sweet engine will be head and shoulders above Honda's new VTX 1300 offerings.

I would like Yamaha to do a thumper though.

they do, just not in North America. SR400 derived the from the SR500 which around the world is very popular. Only sold for 3 years in the US though. Id LOVE to have one if i could find one that someone hasnt already cafe'd. Plus the whole shipping parts internationally thing....

I never did get that whole
Butt back over there, feet, over there& hands over the feet
horrible ergos design thing.
Why is it "cool" to ride something thats so blasted uncomfortable?
Someone who is "making astatement" can have it.

Agreed ... having yer bod folded into a "C" shape while Riding may make you look like a bad-azz, but it can't be comfortable!

SR400!! Now there's a Bike ... Bratstyle out of Tokyo has made some wicked Bobbers and Street Trackers from those!

I just want mid pegs, what's the point of having a low seat height of 26 inches if it's still a 32 inch reach to the freaking rear brake!!
