My bike is a 2005 wiyh 3k mi on it . The valves seem to make some noise, not terrible, but the bike runs good . How important is it to stop the valves from being noisey ? Thanks.

Noisy? Thats a subjective judgement. They make noise or theyre too tight, the ? is, how noisy...? It may be time to have a look at them. Check them to make sure theyre in spec.

If its ticking, you're fine. If it sounds like two spoons whacking together 1000 times a minute you should check and adjust.
