What charges the battery? (Read 72 times)

Savage = HD eater Junior Member Offline Posts: 73 So Cal Gender:	What charges the battery? 05/25/10 at 21:24:00 I know the Savage doesn't have an alternator but what charges the batter? My battery keeps running down. I've had a trickle charger on it but it still doesn't hold a charge. It's a fairly new battery. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

It has a 3 phase generator Huh

it's a generator cause it has magnets Cool

yeah, still scratchin' my head too. Undecided

a lot of new batteries are bad from the get go.
but if it ain't chargin' it ain't gonna keep up no how

take a volt meter, put it across the battery terms and rev the bike up... didn't you guys say 4 or 5000 rpm's? any who should go up in voltage.
