Casey, you said you did no mods to the frame, is it my imagination that the wheel base looks shorter than stock ? Are my eyes playing tricks on me ?

The wheel base is *slightly* shorter than stock due to the shortening of the front forks. But there were no mods to the frame or swingarm that effected wheel base.
Thanks for the question.

I like the mid controls, too. Could you stand to snap a few pics of that work, both sides?

Very nice. Nicest Savage mod I've ever seen.
Since you are gauging interest - mine is very high. I'd love a kit to do this.
However, my kids are plentiful, my wife is intolerant and my bank account is low.
Good luck though, nice website too.

Great job! All this Bobber/Cafe racer back and forth makes me want to puke. A great looking bike is a great looking bike, and this sir is just that! I also really like the look with the tires!

VERY sweet. What would you charge for the speedo, tach set up, to in clued mounting brackets, longer speedo cable and tach cable?
I hate the stock location of the speedo, have to look down all the time to see my speed...
Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful. I am eating my words, I have said savage lends itself to being a chopper and/or a bobber. Not cafe ... sadly I am very mistaken.
I like the footpeg carriers, seat, side covers etc etc, but would like to retain FE and tank - where the $ is I think.
In your build process you ever happen to get a pic of that stage ? Or maybe you never went to that stage, you could ahve modded the front first.
Very good work.
Cool.
Srinath.

You could theoretically use the stock tank and not lower the front forks. I never tried it. I chopped the tank, then created the seat and side panels, then lowered the front to make things level.
