Dragging my footpeg
05/07/10 at 14:08:22

I took a turn and leaned to hard... dragged my footpeg, ripping the rubber and griding my footpeg on the aspalt yesterday.

Is there a footpeg option that lets you lean little more than (stock) would?  I love taking corners, but sure is a bummer dragging and scraping.

It's fun and scary the first time, just fun after that!!!  Grin

My bike has these metal peg on them instead of the stockers so I don't have to worry about tearing up the rubber (on the pegs  Wink )

mini pegs would probably work like these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Suzuki-M90-Mini-Pilot-Pegs-Driver-Position-Foo...

they are alittle shorter and also hang down much less probably giving you 1 or 2 extra inches of lean before you start scraping.

HD Rubber pegs are shorter than our stock and are cheep to replace
just have to drill out the hole a little
My Heel still hits the ground first
