I wasn't in an accident. I got off without putting the kickstand down.

I caught it before she went all the way down, but the left peg put a nice divot in my new asphalt driveway.

Note to all members, don't get off without the kickstand down!

Here's where I get paranoid. Anything I should check before I ride her again? The peg was loose, but so was the right...I have to assume it's always been like that.

I was just too embarrassed to use that station. Ended up riding an extra 6 miles to the next one.

I wonder how that would work? Maybe you would need a lap-belt mounted on the seat that wouldn't release you to get off until the stand was down?

Or maybe one of those metal/rubber things you get over your shoulders on Rollercoasters, which could double up as a handy safety cage for ultimate protection at all times Wink

Another motorcyclist pulled up alongside, stopped, then slowly fell over. He got back up, lifted his machine, and said "I just took the sidecar off this thing yesterday, and I still don't remember to put my feet down when I stop."
