The bad news is I think the old battery died. Because when i try to turn it on, theres just a click sound and nothing else
Glad to hear it's running, but now it's not starting?
There are several safety switches built into the system and any one of them could be malfunctioning if you are unable to turn it over.
I would recommend: (cold starting procedure)
1. Place bike in N (N light on Speedo should light up)
2. Make sure the kill switch by the throttle grip is in the ON position
3. Sit on the bike and lift the Kickstand (there is a kickstand safety switch that will not allow the bike to be started if it is in gear)
4. Pull the Choke (enrichener) out to the 2nd stop
5. Turn the key to ON (make sure it is not in Park where only the taillight lights up)
6. Pull in the clutch lever and thumb the starter.
If at this point you do not have the bike at least turn over you either have a safety switch malfuctioning or a dead battery. (or possibly more serious other wiring issues, but we'll cross that bridge later if we need to)
Let us know if that helps at all
