I have had them both the Super Brace is better. If you look how they are made you can see why.

Same as preacher Mike. Either way, a forkbrace makes all the difference in handling.

All Ive seen is the difference between stock & Superbrace. Pretty big difference. I gotta admit, the decision on which I chose would be how I was setting the bike up. If it was a Bobber or any kind of rat look, Id go w/ the Tkat. Even IF the S/brace IS more rigid, ( the design w9ould lead me to think it could be), I like the look of the Tkat better in some aplications. I have to be;ieve the Tkat would be at least 90% of the S/brace in fuction. I doubt I could tell the difference. A slight tire pressure variation could account for some change in the  "feel" in the front end, couldnt it?

aWas the evaluation/criticism based on hard cornering or easy riding or a combo?

The construction of either brace will maintain the tops of the sliders equidistant and aligned fore and aft.  The super may do that slightly better because of it's one piece design.

As far as it's ratty ass look, one could polish it for the desired look.
Or you could pay superbrace $60 to do it for you.
Your call.

OK, I'll jump in here and admit as  real inexperienced rider/owner(I've been riding since Thanksgiving), I'll admit that I don't know exactly what a fork brace is for, and what it does, and why I would want or not want.

Anyone care to enlighten a newby?

In real simple terms it helps prevent flex in the forks.
