Help,...    after looking it over, if a brace is held high enough for fork travel, it will only be 3" below the brace that the headlite mounts on.  What am I missing here. Is this right ? What does the brace do that the headlite bracket doesn't just 3" below it ?

The brace has nothing to do with fork travel Its 8 inches below the head light

The brace travels w/ the lower fork sections. Its job is to keep them in a straight line at the top, the way the axle does down low. When that happens, the front tire gets pointed more
in a straight line, pointing out from the center of the handlebar, IF its put on that way.

In relation to the headlight it does. It slides up & down the upper fork tubes.

Yeah, I figured instead of people arguing back and forth, just show a picture of where it goes. Makes it much easier.
