Handlebar Swap

So, yesterday while donating some pieces I had bought, left over from making a set of passenger floorboards for the new bike, back to the bike shop, it occurred to make to ask about handlebars.
I was told "go look in the crate across from the floorboards". Sure enough, here's a crate full of bars, mostly in pretty good shape, just the usual scrathes from use.
Found a pair I liked, took 'em up to the owner & popped the ?. No, not that! How much $$$$$. To my surprise he said $10, which I quickly paid. I mentioned how I might paint them to keep the scratches from rusting & he told me 'those are stainless, boy'.
So, I put them on this morning, they fit great & didn't have to change anything. Look like a relaxed version of the oem buckhorns. Just had to drill holes for the switch boxes, very hard SS steel, killed a drill bit & magnet won't stick at all.

Here are some pics:

Will try to get a better picture tomorrow. Cool

Nice looking bars.  Would you mind posting a pic of the floorboards.  I was thinking about doing something similar once I order my EdL's.  I would love to see how you mounted them.

Not bad, they also spread your arms out a bit wider from the look of them. Is that true?

I made my own risers from one inch square aluminum.

Then tied turksheads on the bars.
