OMG! i am sooooooo excited! giggle giggle........seriously here we go:

the next challenge is to find military surplus or fully functioning Artillery/Anti Aircraft/Cannon etc at a private residence - no military bases no military housing - WWII vintage or NEWER no old rusted civil war cannons......the bigger the better - i.e. you are looking for someone who has serious weaponry in thier yard which says "my borders are protected - step away from the house!".....any accompanying story about the weapon would be gravey but not required - just the picture of the house with weapon & your bike as always.

tough enough?.....my wife has approved me purchasing something like this so i want to see what else is out there.

example:

Your cheat-pic did come first and was just as funny, but you stated that you didn't want to pick the next challenge.. therefore you are the honorary winner, and weracerc is the functional winner.   Wink

I bet somebody will get the artillery challenge.. ooh I know of a VFW lodge (that some old codgers would consider their private residence) and it has a huge tank outside..

For those who wanted to see a Blimp or a Watertank in Los Angeles (area):

Hmmm...  "military surplus or fully functioning Artillery/Anti Aircraft/Cannon etc at a private residence...."

While we have military surplus, people who have such at home do not generally display them.  They have them, but usually you need money to get to see their toys, such as to be used in movies.  I would not be able to do this.

Business have lots.  Cities have things around as well.

you could tell some, keep some and who'd know the difference? I am sure whoever wins this it will be a creative work of art - i dont need to know all the details of how you accomplish the mission - results are all that matters.

for giggles look up the following on an internet video search:

1 weekend down 1 to go - is yard artillery that hard to find?........i have a plan B if no yard artillery is found in the next 9 days.......somewhat easier, somewhat limited, but very doable........for now I will hold my ground and require that the item in question be found where someone lives but will allow military housing.
