I still don't understand why my actual pole clock, which was posted before Paladin's was excluded.  But it's ok, I didn't really want to choose a new one.  Just looking for a little love... http://suzukisavage.com/yabb2.2/Templates/Forum/default/smiley.gif

I'm sorry, you are right!  I kept looking back at the two clocks, looking at how similar they are, I guess my mind went cuckoo.  Not that it is much consolation, but yours is my favorite...!!    Grin   And your bike looks great!  I love ya man!   Kiss  Kiss   Kiss

making sure i am looking for the right thing - we are looking for a tethered blimp correct? - there is a golf tourny in town this weekend and i bet the Met-Life or similar is at the airport.......just got to find it parked there sometime while riding this weekend.

Right.  I figured a blimp in free flight would be too easy because you can see them across town.  Plus, a far-off spec in the sky with no tether is too easy to photshop.. not that anyone would try that.. it is far more fun, and takes more creativity to cheat with props.

Ok, the next thing to find is an old fashioned clock on a post.... first one wins!

May I assume that a "Pole" is not a post, and thus not Southpaw's waistwatch.
May I assume that a "pillar" is not a post, and thus Boule'tard was questioned "That was good enough to win?!"
May I assume that the second post posted does not mean "first one" message posted, so I lost by just 7 minutes.
---
Which leaves jef.savage the correct winner and gets the next quest, not a blimp.

Jeff -- what shall we quest.

Yes but you may also assume that the challenger is the arbiter of what is good enough to pass the challenge Tongue   I would not object to a change though.  Since skatnbnc was sadly derelict with the clock post, maybe the next challenge should be a Savage parked by a mid-20s North Carolina chick in 1860s dress, or similar eye candy.

Another idea I had is to find a sign that plays on someone's username, like "Hash Browns" "baby hogs for sale" etc.

You guys can change it with babyhog's permission of course, or just go snag that blimp before lunchtime.  Wink

I'm gonna take my ball and go home!   Cheesy  LOL

My thought process was that Southpaw's was a joke.  He was just trying to get this one over with, bless his heart!  And I would have eventually asked him to pick the next challenge, but then Boule'tard posted his effort.  Yes jef.savage and Paladin's were more like my example, but Boule'tard's was first, and was acceptable to me (being my challenge), so....

Cool.  Weracerc will take control and hopefully go with something as hard to find in L.A as possible,   Grin Like a tattered old steel water tower that is still in service.

That's a huge consolation.  That's all I was hoping for.  And it's absolutely the assigner's call so no need to change anything.
One of my coworkers just referred to his neighbor's dog as a blimp.  Assuming they tie the dog out in the yard once in a while...

I'm in Austin.  Me and my wife go to Gruene on occasional mini-vacations, but I have not gotten her to Bubba's.  That is the one where the waitresses are uh, FULLY PREPARED for the river to flood again, huh? They got their jean shorts and bikini tops fitted pretty good there.  Cheesy  ..another good scavenger hunt idea..
