Texas always did seem like it was a wee bit behind in the times  Grin but that's a bit extreme! What was there like 5 of them or so?

Looks like you are in the hot seat now, so what you got up your sleeve for us to find next?  Huh

I didn't even count all the wagons I saw at that hoe down.  Just parked in the middle of a bunch and took pictures.  Some kind of Memorial Day hootenanny going on in Bandera.

Find me a utility pole.
Oh.. guess it needs a bit more of a challenge.

It must have old GLASS insulators for the lines.  None of your modern ceramic stuff.

Go and seek.  Return not until your quest is finished!  Tongue

Even though my Savage is now running it's still one gasket short of being roadworthy.  So even though I ride over a drawbridge every time I ride to work I couldn't shoot it with the Savage.  But imagine my surprise to see the old glass insulators on the poles in front of my neighbor's house.  I had to dig out my binoculars to confirm they were really glass.

Here's a closeup of the pole

Jef I don't like to be a nay sayer ,but I don't think they are the right ones, the glass insolators are alot bigger than that and they are usually green.
I have the same ones as you out side my front door.

I actually have a small collection of the colored glass insulators

As I mentioned, I used binoculars to get a look at the insulators on the pole and they appear to be uncolored translucent glass.  Still, no big deal if that's not what was meant.

I think those top 4 are sediment bowls.  At least they're threaded. Undecided

OK, so I have a small collection of little glass thing-a-ma-bobs.  Too bad the assignment wasn't to find colored glass breasts.  Interesting that I placed them next to each other with out thinking about it.

I agree with Mick, that is what the insulators looked like to me. Plus I didn't see a motorcycle anywhere in the pic. Huh
