I rode 276mi today through the mountains and not a single single pump station to be found. I was in some desolate backwoods country and I just knew I would come across one. Oh well it was a great ride. Traveled through 3 states.

okay, no more waiting, babyhog says it's good, it's good enough for me.

I wanna see some weird public art, so no historical figure statues, or things like the statue of liberty or monuments, more like

Hey John, we're easy...  Midnight took the baseball field pics with his Ninja, so let us see that pretty new thang you just got.  I wanna see it anyway!

Lost -- good challenge.  We've definitely got some weird stuff around my towns!

Paladin.... you are one smart man!   Wink

If I didn't have wind gusts past 50mph right now, I would go and get the weird public art picture.

Why thank you Piglett! Smiley  I'm sure by the time the weather dries back out someone will have the art pic, but I definitely want in on this thing, gonna keep an eye on it! Shocked

And I think I already posted a pick of it, but what proud parent can't resist showing off the pics of the "kids"! Roll Eyes

Ok, the pictures aren't the best as you can't get close enough with a motorized vehicle, but this is a park that has nothing but weird artistic stuff in it.  Their website is:  http://www.franconia.org/  If you click on "meet the artists" you can view each one's sculptures.  I really like the building that's hung from a metal frame, the there are other really neat works of art on a 20 acre field.  Hope this works for ya LostArtist! I tried to post this message with the pics, but not real sure how to, so here's the links to my Photobucket file.  http://pbckt.com/sB.dhHf

I'll accept it!!  cool stuff!

would it have killed you to walk over and get some closer shots of the art??   Tongue  but you included their webpage, so that's cool, and it looks like a neat place

so what's next??    need a great weekend challenge, no pressure pb Wink

Great!  Glad you liked it LostArtist.  Didn't have time this a.m. to walk through the place, there was a very forboding thunder and lightening storm coming across the hills and me with a 20 mile drive back home. For my challenge...let's see.....probably wouldn't be cool to have a Savage parked in front of a dozen Harley's mowed down like dominoes, so......how about finding a residential house with at least 1 kitchen appliance junked out in the front yard or a car up on blocks.  I'll take either one.  Good luck hunting and everyone drive safe this weekend!

So basically a stereotypical red neck front yard huh? I might be able to swing that on my way home from work in the morning.
