That building is on my route to work.  All I had to do was pull over and snap!  Although that's the side of the building.  I don't turn the corner to get the front and didn't have time to do so yesterday.  I thought of it as soon as I Googled cupola.  But you know, I "think" its a city building, I'm not even sure what is in it...

Ok.  Next...  Any establishment with a day of the week in the name.

I was hoping for something less obvious but it's chilly out and this is the closest.

Also a neighbor, about 5 houses down the street:

I still say Paladin needs to have SOME kind of handicap - he is slaying the rest of us in finds!!

Okay, how about he gets to ride a unicycle for the hunt??

How about a drawbridge, preferbaly one that rotates.

They are everywhere out here, back in the day water carried alot more stuff and people than land means.  That meant water traffic had priority over road traffic.  I remember sitting many times, waiting for the bridge to open and close as we were going to or from town.

A savage and a drawbridge, go find me one!

I know this is going back quite aways, but I got these pics when I was out riding last Saturday and thought "Hey, a rotating drawbridge!".  No bike in the pic, sorry!
Almost closed:

Closeup:

What it goes across (you can see the roadway where all the people are standing on the right):

Enjoy the random pics! Cheesy

Paladin go what are we looking for now?

First we have to find a "Office sign or advertisement of any kind for a ................Proctologist!"

The wife will probably have to bail me out after I ride through the halls of medical offices.  Would you accept the sign of the door and trust me that the building with my bike is the same place?

This will be harder to find than a Mogul in Church.

Why I like this thread, interesting things to find.  Thing like this bridge that you probably would not have looked at twice.  Now you look notice the unusual.
