Fork seal time (almost)

I'm a wondering, is the picture disc a sort of how-to? Or just captioned pix of the various parts of the bike in various states of undress? Reason I ask is, after reading a few of the various streams on changing the fork seals, I'm still having trouble wrapping my mind around the techniques involved. It's something I definitely need to do before I get on the thing again for a long ride, and I've already skipped two summers in a row. Not getting any younger here.

If I've missed the definitive stream for performing the task (complete with pix) can someone point me in the right direction? If the pic disc with one of the streams is enough then I guess that's what I'll do instead.

I looked thru savage greg's compilation and missing are the special broomstick tool and a view of the lilsombetch at the bottom of the fork.

I'll have to see if I can find my special tool.
