the o-ring that comes off when u remove the cover, is that the one i can use from harbor freight? cuz that one was sticky, kinda gooey last time lol

'95 bobber rat...i guess it's a "bat bike" haha flat black mostly, bare metal tank, header wrap, always a work in progress !

as I said that one's much larger than those provided in the kit.

Get 2 or 3, theyre cheap, youll either use them, or sell them with it.

I usually do the o-ring and spring on the the first oil change in the spring and then every other one after that.  I've noticed that it gets stubborn to get it to say in the groove if I go longer than that.

Ive never changed the spring & I have about 5 oil changes on the big O-Ring

I know I've changed the o-ring once in the... gawd, has it been 3 years?

but the spring? never... ever.

ok so i'll check the o-ring, i bought oem filters and it didn't come with any.

and i'm glad u don't have to replace the spring! i where would u get one?
