That poor thing is really going to have a sore butt after the hard tail surgery you're having done to it.  Be sure to allow plenty of recovery time before you start messin with it.   Grin

A front end swap to get the rake pulled in would be better than messing with the frame length, IMO. Maybe put some longer shocks on, too & get some clearance so the pegs didnt drag so soon in a corner & get it running hot, as a few have done, bob it so its light & go out & kill a bunch of higher dollar bikes with it.

It's going to be a super skinny lane splitting bike when it's done. Depending on when he can finish the hard tail it should be before January.

Low, slow, and loud is what I'm going for haha.

Why is the front end all the way compressed in pic #2 compared to in pic #1?

Took the caps off the top of the forks and removed the load of off the springs. I'm going to be cutting the springs to lower it to about that height though.

6 months later I got my frame back, so freaking worth the wait. Dave did an amazing job with the hard tail.

Friend Chen lending a hand.

Took a few hours to get it to this point. It should be rideable in a few days or less.

Love the long low hardtail look. Hate the hardtail idea. Id love to see a savage with a stretched plunger frame like the 60's triumph choppers. I would totally get in on that.
