Tire Suggestions

Heys Guys! I'm getting ready to replace my tires on my bike and I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on what brand of tire to get. I was riding on the IRC tires, but I only seem to get about 5-6 K Miles out of the rear tire. If I spend the extra money on Metzeler ME 880 vs the IRC or Dunlops- am I going to get more mileage out of the tire? What are you guys using?

Great ride, awesome wet traction, unbelievably long tread wear. They are flat out great tires!

It felt like it was gonna lay down all the time. I think thats good on a starter bike. Keeps the rider riding as if riding on sand on cement.
