Should have had it sooner but after a tedious few weeks wait due to work etc its now mine.

First impressions ...

I love it, infact i smiled all the way home Cool

Not mint but under 14000 miles, that will do nicely.

I work nights so im gonna put me feet up have a  few Smiley s and generally celebrate before i pass out due to lack of sleep.

Some pictures :

Welcome! Hope you enjoy the bike. Good to have another UK Savage around, maybe next spring we can get a few people together for a day trip (Ace Cafe London to Brighton maybe?!)

I've got an '86 that I've been using for spares so if you ever need anything that I might have then let me know.

Pretty pretty.  You will have fun fun with that.  Ours went all the way up into the Great Smoky Mountains today with 2 of us on it.  Nice bikes!

It has risers 4-5 inch and a super bike bend bar.
I make risers and a drag style bar. Pics here -
http://picasaweb.google.com/srinath.the.man/RiserPics#

I am down to the last 2 risers, and possibly 3 bars. Its a direct fit with no mods on 86-05 was it ... all non s40 bikes. I can bend bars to your preference and they are thin wall stainless steel, but the bends tend to crinkle a bit. I have run mine that way for almost 1 year, its fine in both the stock and the chopper.
$100 for both, 60 for risers only and 40 for bar only. Shipping extra. Ship free in US if both are ordered. Nothing else to buy, just bolt these on and ride.

Oddly, I am surprised I still have these, I made just about a dozen, I used 1, I put one on a local friends savage, sold a few and seem to have forgotten the last couple.

Cool.
Srinath.

Nice looking bike, but the seat looks a little slick. Stop to fast and away you go...

Thanks for the comments.
Not sure about the type of bars tbh they were already fitted.
I dont know if the carb has been rejetted for the exhaust but will get round to that eventually.
Yeah its clean and shiny but will get better in time Wink
Its early days right now so havent had much chance to take a good look around it yet but im sure theres plenty to do.
Brakes for a start !

AJ ...... im based in the west midlands.
