I have 2 or 3 small oil leaks one of which is the cylinder head plug. Is this a replace or reseal job?

I've seen it done (and have done it) both ways.  If you have the luxury of time to wait for a part, replace it.  If not, one of the gasket sealant products should work.

either way, you need to pull the head cover.
do you really want to risk pulling it again for a used part?
Not that I think a used part wouldn't seal
but that's a $5 risk for several hours of work.

Thanks. I will definately replace it. I really don't like to reuse stuff unless it's necessary.
