Ive never seen anyone drop the $$$ to just replace one. So far, they seem to be a "forever" part. Maybe if one got left in the sun long enough it would become apparently compromised & need replaced. A few have broken, but typically, if one is in need of being replaced, its because a rock or something went around & the pulley shoved it thru, messing the belt up. I replaced mine for that reason. But I got mine for cheap from Barry, who pioneered the conversion to chain & sprockets.
