Been taken by suprize a couple of times by large potholes, they cause the rear of the bike to drop and come back up fast. Imagine holding a bag with two tennis balls, then bouncing a racket under them....owie

Cornering on a hardtail seems almost the opposite of a normal suspension.
Probably in the way you would take a corner, like accelerating while coming out of a corner may not be a good idea considering one bounce and you could be street surfing on yur butt.
Applying front brakes shifts weight forward, but in some instances, you want weight on the back tire to stop possible skipping. Turning on gravel while hitting just the front brake may not be the best idea.
It seems i use the front\rear brake together or rear alot more now.
It has been a fun learning expierience so far.

Noticed if you lean forward on bumpier stuff, it puts less impact on spine and about the same on butt.

The seat being able to move i think will take alot of the shock and allow me to make day trips without killin what's left of my back.

Hopefully gonna take a short ride this week and try 'er out.
