oh yeah, savages run preeetty hot; but then again
there is hot and there is HOT! ...which one was it?
get a $5 meat thermometer (serious) temp around
the head (where the spark plug is) should be around
200-250°F, but the chamber and exhaust port reach 350°+F

(how's your oil?  cooling fins clean? exhaust valves too tight?)  good luck

Buy one of these.  Fits in your pocket and works well.  I'm very satisfied with mine.

Once you buy the device, try it out on your wife/girlfriend.  You will be surprised at the temperature variations depending on her moods.  You must take several readings all over her, to fully appreciate the data.  Once you've established and can identify the temperature differences when she is tense or in a bad mood, then you can do like I do:  As soon as you come home from work, scan her with the device and if the readings indicate trouble, ignore her for the rest of the evening until further scans show that she is in a better mood.

OMG ...great tool + application, I'm certain it works too
(hormones, water retention, metabolism, ovulation, HBO, etc)
...I wonder if it works w/the dog too (dobermann), cause
sometimes I can't stand either of those 2 needy b*tches.
Priceless, thanks buddy!

I let mine idle for ~45 mins, and the head cover started giving off light smoke. It smelled more like wood, twigs and general junk ... it has sat for 2-3 years after its crash. I then shut it off. After cooling off it did start back up fine with no issues ... so I know now what is the limit I can take it to for temperature.
Cool.

It is, especially in a bar or party.  Instead of wasting your time with small talk to see if a woman is a likely candidate, you can just scan their body temperatures to see if they are ready for you.  You should focus on the neck and face ( and any exposed chest areas), when you scan.

great thread!   Grin

You would have to MAKE (adapt) one; somebody form this forum (can't remember who) installed one, look:

I asked a master mechanic and told me that the cooling power of a similar oil cooler
would be minimal, almost useless, unless accompanied by a 2nd oil pump and a fan,
some people are rather installing 12V fans, with an on/off switch, right on the engine for when stuck in traffic.

The savage engine is MADE for running hot, look at this damage ...the engine never ceased.
As long as your lubrication system is running well, you'll be fine, these things are not air-cooled by chance

A match made in heaven would be a "hot" woman, found by a man with one of those scanners, finding a "stud" with her stud-finder!! Grin
I personally have to stay away from my wife when she's using a stud-finder for hanging pictures - The gadget just goes crazy when I walk by!!!!!!!!!!!! Grin
