Where is the oil drain plug? (Read 166 times)

seb481 YaBB Newbies Offline Posts: 33 San Diego Gender:	Where is the oil drain plug? 06/28/09 at 18:15:00 When you're done laughing at my stupid question, would you mind telling me where the oil drain plug is? I looked at the manual and can't figure out where it is exactly. If I lay down on the left side of the bike, I see an horizontal screw that might be it but I'm not sure. Here is a picture I took of what I think might be it.

oh, forgot to tell you:

draining your oil boiling hot is best, just be careful, wear a glove!

for the savage I like mobile 1 synthetic (expensive, $9) or motul ($5),
but most oils are fine for this particular bike; you will need 2 liters and
check your oil level OFTEN, some savages burn (eat) oil w/normal operation;
I personally use motul, pennzoil or castrol, whatever, it burns it anyway.
