stripped head on mixture screw ...

have a 2002 that i got last year ....pretty much a daily driver during the summer....finally decided to pull the plug an get to the screw...what i found was the plug had been drilled out already an dirt was packed into the hole so i thought ...this should be easy...cleaned the dirt out pulled the pre drilled plug out ...arghhhh the screw head is pre screwed up....there is still somewhat of a slot..my only thought would be to take something an maybe scratch at the head enough to get the slot good enough to use..........also how easy does this screw turn.........this kinda puts the ki-bosh on the mods i have planned to finish my bobber this winter.......

The mixture screw shouldn't be tight at all. It only "tightens" against a little spring and rubber o-ring. Douse that sucker with DeepCreep or at least WD-40 for a couple days and I bet it will break loose  Smiley
