Parts supplier that ships to Canada
06/22/09 at 09:21:20

Hi,

title says it all. I could use a good advice for some reliable on-line parts suppliers or other places to get stuff like brake pads and such. And, if they use USPS to ship to Canada - wooohooo, bulls eye. And, of course, if there's such site in my neighborhood, Alberta - I'll be ashamed I even asked, but still will take the advice Smiley

have a great day

K

I haven't ordered online from the States except for the Fork Brace & Savage CD. Like you, I hope someone has some info on this.
Dealers are pricey!!!
Good to see a fellow Albertan here. What part of the Province you in?

I've ordered from BikeBandit before, prices seem decent when items are "on sale" and shipping is reasonable with no add-on fees from FedEx; can't say the same for "Brown"  Tongue

Sometimes my local dealer's prices are better...

I've got parts and accessories from a variety of places in the US, most are pretty good but shipping is always a killer. Never go with UPS, the broker fees will kill you. I always insist on USPS and I've never had a problem. Sometimes it will even escape duty and tax charges. A few retailers I've come across have refused to ship to Canada or use USPS.

Catalogue sellers such as Dennis Kirk, Jireh Cycles and my favourite J&P (metric cruiser catalogue) are also good sources.

The Canadian dollar has tanked once more so my next couple of purchases - Supertrapp and Wingerline crash bars are on hold until we break .90 again. Patience is the pits.
