End of last year I downsized from a '01 BMW R1200C to a '05 S40.  Got sick and tired of over engineering, options I never used, and driving 100 miles to the nearest dealership because I had no idea how to work on the thing!  I rode a R75/6 for many years, and was looking to reproduce the simplicity and fun.  I think I did it!  But I have to say, folks, my butt misses that BMW seat!!  Haven't been able to find a solo, or solo plus seat for it.  Any ideas?  I'd also like to be an inch or two back in the seat...

Diamond Jim did a seat mod that works great! I did it, and it's the absolute best thing I've ever done to the bike. Look up some of his posts. He didn't have it under "seat mod". Use the "search" function.
