Oopsie!... Straight pipe....

Ever since I saw the cutaway view of the sporty muffler DJ posted, I've been curious what mine would sound like with a couple of small holes drilled into the baffle plate....
So, today I went out there with my 8" drill bit and as soon as I put the bit to the plate, the hole thing popped loose...
Now it's a straight pipe.....
LOUD!....
"Huh?...What's that?"

Oh, it's way too loud!.....
So, I had a thought....
I went out to my shop and found a nut that almost fit the hole, ground it a little bit,.... and hammered it down to the point where the baffle-plate used to be....
Not a pretty thing,... but, nothing to loose at this point..
It's now louder than the stock sporty, but not as loud as open pipe...
Now,.. either it's gonna' stay put,... or I'm gonna' shoot somebody....
Have to wait and see....

Should we start a poll to see how old it lasts??
The heating and cool-down cycles will make it come out eventually.

Your gonna shoot out someone's radiator!
Yeah, it's exponentially louder without that piece. If you get bored, try adding another nut or two, spaced a few inches apart.
