I have just gotten used to rolling up & flipping the kill switch. But, there is a downside. Its pretty easy to walk off & leave the key in the ignition that way. I did that quite a few times before killing it & then pulling the key became second nature.

...these seem like odd questions .... kill it how ever you want - kill button or key switch or pop the clutch - but before you walk away set the bike in first - roll it a little back and forth to make sure - that's reasonable yes?
There are no odd questions. Only odd answers!
