or in an empty parking lot! my friend picked me up around 6, it was such a beautiful night(a beach night as my girlfriend likes to say lol) and we rode down 2 a1a....if u've ever been down it it's awesome! right on the water, there's trees that make the road tunnels, and alot of really curvy roads.

we rode down 2 the boynton inlet, i live in lake worth, so that's farther then i expected 2 go on my first time ever in traffic! it went really well! i stalled a few times but other then that i loved it! alot of other motorcyclists waved or nodded which i think was pretty cool.

i've never had that feeling, looking up @ trees or over @ the beach as u snap crackle and pop your way by....i was addicted just riding in my neighborhood...now i am a junkie!

i look 4ward to many many more rides like that! for the record we did 32 miles in south florida traffic(my longest ride 2 date b4 this was 5 miles in a target parking lot haha). it was friggin wicked, i was so psyched after that i couldn't sleep.....hopefully you guys know where i'm coming from....i have a feeling you do! and like my friend who has been riding for 30 years or so he takes for granted the little things that are new and awesome 2 a beginner!!

and i've also decided 2 name my bike BaCkFiRe....on the account of how much she likes 2 do it! it makes me laugh every time she does...and my little brother said the name sounds like some sort of transformer lol  i couldn't afford eleanor off gone in 60 seconds but backfire is just as nice! anybody else name their bike?

Congrats, I bought mine from guy who only put 52 miles on it. I had never ridden a motorcycle before. (I got my permit that morning). Loaded it on a trailer. An hour later I was home. Wife and kids were gone so I went a "little" ride for the first time. 150 miles until I ran out of gas. You're right it is a rush. Just got her out of the garage and started up yesterday. can't wait for this coming weekend. It's my birthday and darn it if I don't do a road trip.

I remember riding around the neighborhood wondering if I had made the right choice in getting a bike. I wore out a pair of shoes figuring out how to corner and everything. Then one day I was like screw it, can't ride back here forever. We went out on the main roads. Once I got out, I couldn't stop and haven't looked back since. The freedom or at least the feeling of freedom that it give me is just AWESOME. Same thing went for my wife, she wasn't sure if she would like riding with me. She got on, we went around the block a few times and I haven't been able to get rid of her since lol.
