I have those mirrors too.  Of all the crappy mirrors I got, I like those the most.  But they are finally really crappy, vibrate like hell at speed, they used to be real solid.  Occassionaly they stick out to far and wap someones mirror.   Grin  Yes the mirrors are all held in by double sticky tape.  Even the OEM mirror's for my cage are too.

Yeah, some of those mirrors are crap.  The style is what I was hinting to.  As I said, I think the C50 OEM mirrors would work good cause they are solid and you can get them cheap when a C50 owner has replaced their stockers.

You ordered the 10" apes?  Cool.  I've been told our (mine and yours) stock cables are a little shorter than those that came on bkuesavage's bike.  Swapping throttle and clutch cables for those made for a Savage with buckhorns and getting a new brake line should solve the cable issue.

I read the same thing too... I guess I'll see when they come in. It's more of a future project than something I expect to tackle as soon as they get here.

I've got too many open projects now as it is... Smiley

I would wait on the risers until you see about the cables. If you have to get new cables anyway you might want to get taller risers depending on what's comfortable.... Just a suggestion.

How do the stock Savage risers fit you? And what are your "specs"? I'm like 5'6"ish... So I have a feeling that these will fit just fine with some stock risers on there.

Besides, the bid is at $4.95 for the set right now (they're slightly damaged on the top - but I'll just use my top piece) so it's good for the cost.

Wow, I really like the looks of those bars. What are the specs on them?

Nice bike!

+1, but those bars are illegal here in Louisiana Sad

That foot gear doesn't look very protective.  Wink

What license plate bracket did you use? It's looks like exactly what I need. Thanks.

I bought a black powder coated side mounted license plate off of ebay, and then I just bent the stock license plate frame to fit it.

I just bought this one off EBay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=350185917292

Quick shipping, the product is great, and he even sprayed it black for me at request.

The only issue is that... It doesn't fit. I was looking for something that would push the plate out behind the belt guard. This is 2" too short. I e-mailed him to see if he could fabricate something that would accomodate that.

I need to have something that I can keep my saddlebags with. Smiley

Mount the tag on the back of one of your saddlebags.

I got some chrome trim from autozone, got it home, put it on the tank, and then decided to put it on the fenders as well. $10 for 1 roll that covered the tank and both fenders.

I like the looks on the fenders! It gives it that extra "bling". Not 100% sure on the tank, but it's nice to match it across the board.
