Posts: 24	do the rear shocks come apart?........... 04/04/09 at 09:16:58 been wanting to paint the spring an outer section an leave the cylinder chrome.........but on taking them off the bike i find out why my bike bounced like a rock even on softest setting the po put a 1/4in slice of cast pipe on the spring end................a little springytosofthardtail.......

Reply #1 - 04/04/09 at 09:53:43 If you hold the center rod with a visegrip you can un screw it,put the visegrip at top so you don't mess up the rod.It will be hard getting it back together because you have to squeeze it together to screw it back on .
