Posts: 177	rear axle nut and front pulley nut size? 03/30/09 at 17:19:06 Sorry for the random question, but does anyone know offhand what the sizes for the rear axle nut is as well as the front drive pulley nut? Clymer's doesnt mention the size and I'm gonna be removing both of them shortly for some work and wanna know the sizes before I get started. TIA -Matt

Reply #1 - 03/30/09 at 17:48:51 Harbour fright has a good impact set of metric impact sockets 3/4" drive though. Cheaper than two craftsman sockets. And will cover anything you got to do on the bike. 24mm Confirmed rear axle nut.

Reply #3 - 03/31/09 at 05:18:11 I got the impact gun needed and 1/2" drive breaker bar needed. I just need to know the exact size of the nut holding the front drive pulley to the engine so I can swing by Lowe's on the way home and pick up the right size socket. Thanks for the help!
