Obviously, there are a lot more steps to this because of all of the stuff connected to the tank. Can anyone help with a step-by-step for a spark plug change on a S40?
thanks!

Paul,
If you are jsut changing the plug, the tank does not need to come off.
1) remove seat.
2) remove two bolts holding tank on.
3) put some tape ont he frame by the fuel petcock.
3A) remove fule line)
4) lift up on rear of tanks and wiggle to the left (gear shifter side). You should lift enough to be able to get a piece of 2x4 lumber under the tank mounting tab.
5) Remove the rear chrome cover bolt (10 mm )
6) Loosen the front bolt. (it's long and you will need a wrench on the lower bolt head. (both sides 10 mm)
6) turn the chrome cover to the side.
7) pull sparkplug boot
8) use flashlight to check for crud around sparkplug. ((don't want that going down the hole). Clean if needed.
9) use tool to remove plug
