Everything stock except mirror heads.('86)

About the only thing I don't care for are Ape Hangers. But I suppose you would have liked to see bars actually on a Savage??? ...Okay...

Stock VulcanVN800 bars. Cables fit fine with no mods. I think they're 32 inches wide. I'm small so I needed lots of pullback and the extra leverage that wide bars provide to be comfortable on the highway.

That said, I'm thinking of going to some lower and narrower bars this winter, along the lines of some low vintage motocross bars. I'm doing less touring and more canyon riding nowadays on this bike.

No cable replacement just re-routed them before I put on the Girder front end, then I had to change to cable operated front brake because stock wheel with disk wouldn't fit on front end.

Hey Demin, that second pic. What is the name of those handle bars? I was looking at a pair at my local custom shop. Here they are called guidon. What are the dimensions of the handle bars, and did they require any mods?
