(click to Suzuki's Site)
It's the GZ250 in standard trim, except....
Upgraded to Fuel Injection with a catalytic converter and O2 feedback system -- they're meeting tighter emissions, which means the little guy should still be around for a while.
If this thing sells we might get to see the big single in standard trim -- they still have to have the tooling for the Tempter's frame. Maybe bring the 400cc Savage/Tempter to the U.S..

I'll stick with my Savage. Don't need the added complexity, or decrease in power. Should get great mileage though...

What I find interesting is that we are seeing an addition of an entry level / strictly city bike -- head to head competition for Honda's 250 Nighthawk 'cept having a front disk vs. the CB's drum and being $200 cheaper. Hopefully this is the beginning of more smaller displacement bikes in old school street trim.
While a 250 would do, it's marginal, at least for Los Angeles. When you get into the 400cc range and you have something light and easy to ride, more than acceptable on city & freeway, and even capable of cross country trips. I would give up my Savage for a
400 Tempter
, if such were ever to be offered in the States.

Beautiful bike, looks like a little Triumph in the styling.
And a 3.17 gal gas tank!
The seat looks even more uncomfortable than the Savage's, though.

Can anyone photoshop the Tenmpter's front fork&drum brake onto the Savage?
I think the result would be extremely interesting...

The new model, the TU250, doesn't even have a name yet. It has the same engine as the GZ250.
The Tempter was an '80's bike, never brought to the States, that used the 400cc version of our engine:

Yeah, I'd go for the Tempter with a 650 engine and disc brake!
I would definitely be tempted!

Palidin,
Do you know the model number for the Tempter???
Red Wine has a LS400 with a bad piston. He's having a hard time getting parts. Having a second model to search for would help.
