My 07 S40 has been through several changes since I bought it so I thought I would post a few pics of its metamorphosis to its current form.

If anyone can post the pics directly on the site feel free.

Thanx

holy moley your foot looks close to the wheel in a turn.  My foot reaches 3-4" past the pedal.  You must be 6'-4"!

It looks good.  Where do you put the license plate?

Na the controls aren't as close as it looks in the pic. I'm only 5'11" but very comfortable on the Savage.

License plate goes on my home made side plate.

If I may say so, I really like the fork gaiters.  They compliment the rest of the bike.

I'm not into modifying, but darn that bike looks cool!

Hi Sky!  You really should start a new topic rather than tagging onto an existing thread -- lots of people ignore older threads.

You can go to your profile and put in an age and a location -- it does help for when people make suggestions.

As for saddlebags -- what do you want them for?  Do they need to be lockable?  Do they need to look good?

Kirk,On mine, and Strangeling's bike everything is reversible.None of the stock parts have to be cut up(including the frame). All the parts were made to fit the "stock" frame/suspension setup. If you look on both of our's even the rigid struts are bolt on to make it a hardtail. So if you don't like it or go to sell it,it's easy to go back to stock.

Strangeling, the last pic with the bobbed fender and solo seat has got to be the best looking one I've seen.

Strangeling, congrats, a very nice bike! I like the fork gaiters, the rear fender (what is it?) and of course the bars. I also like to see through the frame (no air box, no side covers).
Where did you get the seat from the first pic (981051)? I was looking for a seat like this. Is it available somewhere?

Again, congrats.
