Hello all,
I just sold my Ninja 250, had it 6 years and got more than I paid for it.  Lady Luck was on my side for once.

The best part, I am picking up my 96 Savage tomorrow morning.  It has 3800 miles on it, she is maroon and in pretty good shape.  PO just had the 4K service done to her.  So I'm a happy camper.

You guys have a great forum and I hope to become a active part of the group.

May I suggest:



Once you get to I-70 you can get on US 6 and head into Avon or Leadville without getting on the slab.  Vail is just one exit of slab, Glenwood Springs a bit more.

Or, wait till the next time I'm heading to Colorado for a summer time share week and I'll join you!

The ninja is a great little bike and I enjoyed the heck out of it.  It was time for a change and I was tired of the sport bike image.  Not that I ever had that image to begin with.  I like to work on my bike and the Ninja was a pain in the butt.  Lots of plastic to remove when ever you needed to work on the engine.

In warmer weather I have noticed that on the Ninja you feel the engine heat on the back of your thighs.  There is a vent on the side panels that seem to bake you good.  Will have to see how the Savage fairs.

drharveys' ride looks like a fun one might have to give it a go after I have had a chance to check things over on the new bike.  Drove up to Rocky Mnt. National Park about a month ago with the family.  Looks like a great trip to take on a bike.  Let me know when your in town!

Anyone else willing to make the trip out to CO for a ride let me know...
