Getting stuck at red lights - Question

I picked up a couple of magnets today because I've been having trouble with the local traffic lights. Where exactly should they be mounted?

I believe most are mounted on the lowest section of the frame... Think about where your bike stops when you're at a redlight, and where the sensor boxes would be located.
I'd guess around the kickstand or engine/tranny section somewhere?

I think it was old feller that mounted them to the topside of the kickstand pad. It seemed to work for him. and if nothing else, if you see a 15 lb. sledge hammer in the road just roll by and it will pick it up.

Most are mounted on the section of the frame reserved for the California Emission Canister. Don't use this flat platform for anything else as it isn't strong enough to lift the bike with a jacking device.
