Ok  Verslagan... you pinged my interest and made me Yahoo the Kopin tanks.

First website, montana Jack's .... $45 plus $16 for the bracket...  hmmm bit pricey for a plastic tank..... then I click around the site and saw this which I'm sure someone here could MOD onto a Savage......

I have been giving those ATV boxes a look myself of late. They're a bit  heavy when empty and don't look too great, but then my bike's a borderline rat bike by now anyway. They look like they're pretty secure for those truck stop get away for the bike meal breaks. And don't they just have the best toys in those big truck stop stores?

With all that weight in the rear, I'm amazed you weren't pulling wheelies out of every stop Grin

If you compare the total weight on the bike, it was considerably less than that of a passenger, and I never had to worry about it leaning the wrong way.  Grin

never had anything else, but it works just fine.  plenty of adjustment.

did get a chance to try paladins bike, he has a flyscreen.  If I find one lying around I'll get one.  More wind on chest which is great in the summer, but not enough to knock you off the bike.
