Hello!  I know have 150 miles on my S40 and the front brake is starting to squeal when used.  Should I worry over this? Undecided

Already been covered. Use the search function for details.

Long story short, its normal and expected with the stock pads.

Mine did this when I had only 2 miles on it the day I bought it. Only thing to do is change the pads. I ordered a set of organics for it. It's a shame to have to replace pads with less than 300 miles on them. Between the squeel that can be heard from about a block away and the VERY noticable wear on the rotor, I'm spending the $25 on a set.

thanks guys, I will see if I can deal with the squeal, its not too bad right now but if it worsens I guess I will have to buy the aftermarket pads.
