What's involved in removing the endcaps and left grip on a 2006 model? Setting here scratching my head wondering if they thread into the dampers or what? Hope to gain insight on this and left grip removal for new bars before I break something...that's unfortunately why I'm the wrenchbender.

They just press on, so just pull off. evenly if you want them to go back on.
