Any trouble running Mobil1 20w-50? (Read 68 times)

I have two quarts of Mobil 1 20W-50 and am going to do an oil change. Friend said that for our hot temp riding this is the oil to use but I want to hear it from Savage owners!

Reply #2 - 06/26/08 at 05:14:54 I've been running the Mobil1 20w50 in my engine for 2 summers. It helps to keep the valves quiet when things get hot. I can idle for a time in traffic and not worry about the oil suffering premature thermal breakdown.

I just got this bike and getting it ready to ride. Replacing oil, filters and just ordered a new Big Crank battery. Gonna wrench on it a bit before taking any trip outside the neighborhood!
