Thats how I secured the cooler too. I used the should strap to go around and under the rear rack and sewed some straps w/velcro that attach to the saddlebag mounting brackets. seems quite secure for riding but would be easy to steal. But if it's that easy to steal, then it would be just as easy to take them into work or into the house with you.

Stealing the bag would be bad, but knocking the bike over while someone tried to steal the bag would be worse.

Kind of like being safety conscious, and locking the car, only to have someone come bust the window out.

6 of one.....1/2 dozen donuts......my train of thought is nill.  Huh

We will need pictures of it on a Savage(S40) when you can......

I know I took a really long time..but I never found that battery charger.  Had to order a new one.

Here's the Karyukan Grantour bag on my Savage.  It's a tight fit.  It didn't fit well with the backrest facing forward, so I turned it around.  Still works as a backrest though.  I do hate having to side-step to get off the bike..as opposed to being able to swing my leg over the rear fender.  It's a skill.
